these days the sheer amount of information volumes on the internet has surely affected the way each and every person does his or her business.

in the older days if someone straight out copied text from a book to publish as their own, it would be considered as plagiarism, these days its called rss feeds. the problem lies in the design, with so many cross referencing of information, how does one know who is the original owner of ideas and thoughts.

what stops me from doing a service, precisely the same as twitter and then releasing it as squeeker with a web 2.0 logo.

the same problem is happening to online writers and publishers – many a site live on copying ideas and text from other sites with no real ethical and moral way controlling or policing itself.

makes one wonder, what money is to be made becoming an online publishing authority, with a kind of ‘text registration system’, where people can allow their text to be freely distributed or have a small royalty fee for the usage of an article.

some or other time the transition has to be made from paper to digital, and also a certain transition of job function is inherently going to happen.

so as part of getting my keword count up for our in-house competition. i’ve decided to blog about the word/term ‘cool’.

according to wikipedia -
